(di)vision x The Ordinary SS25 Runway Show
For their Spring/Summer '25 collection, (di)vision partnered with The Ordinary to create a unique and immersive runway experience titled “The Dream of Steam City.” Presented on August 6th during Copenhagen Fashion Week, the show seamlessly merged fashion and skincare, reflecting both brands’ shared vision of sustainability, transparency, and innovation. “Steam City is the outcome of what (di)vision and The Ordinary look like combined,” says Simon Wick, co-founder and creative director of (di)vision. Held at Art Maze, an avant-garde venue in Copenhagen, the event captivated audiences with its blend of urban dreamscapes and cutting-edge design. Buzzcut Zeazon led the PR and guest management for the collaboration, ensuring a seamless execution that reflected the show’s avant-garde ethos. Buzzcut’s role encompassed coordinating with venue representatives, managing the exclusive guest list, and aligning all event elements to the visionary concepts of both brands. (di)vision’s SS25 collection featured an eclectic mix of upcycled menswear and womenswear, drawing inspiration from urban maximalism, Tokyo fashion nostalgia, and video game aesthetics. Layering and reconstruction were key, with vintage denim, lace, jersey, and leather repurposed for striking visual impact. “I have always had the idea that upcycling works better when it’s visual,” Simon explains. The cohesive aesthetic extended to every aspect of the event, with backstage and front-of-house staff wearing custom lab coats designed for the collaboration. Makeup and hair looks, crafted using The Ordinary’s products, emphasized a natural, dewy skin look, complementing (di)vision’s avant-garde fashion. The evening was marked by a series of unforgettable highlights. Guests were welcomed with exclusive upcycled tote bags transformed from tank tops and featuring custom (di)vision x The Ordinary prints. These unique totes, containing a selection of The Ordinary’s celebrated products, symbolized the union of fashion and beauty while underscoring both brands’ commitment to resourcefulness and creativity. With Buzzcut Zeazon at the helm of PR and guest management, the collaboration between (di)vision and The Ordinary was a resounding success, showcasing the power of sustainable practices and innovative design in creating a truly memorable fashion week experience.
