Stockholm Surfboard Club’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection explored the cultural intersections between surf, music, and personal style, tracing the influences that have shaped surf culture across generations. Inspired by the raw energy of early Californian surf rock and extending through psychedelia, grunge, and beyond, the collection reflected a broader dialogue between creative communities connected by movement, expression, and the ocean. Imagining a timeless coastal guesthouse as its backdrop - a transient meeting place for surfers, musicians, artists, poets, and drifters - SS27 brought together references from different eras into a wardrobe that felt personal, lived-in, and collected over time. Presented in Paris, the showroom was supported by Buzzcut Zeazon, who handled PR and Guest Management for an evening celebration and a dedicated showroom appointment day for key press. The format encouraged meaningful engagement with the collection, allowing guests to experience its narrative through close conversation and discovery. SS27 translated its themes into relaxed tailoring, lightweight blousons, textured knitwear, vintage-inspired jersey pieces, and washed denim, all grounded in a palette of stone, natural whites, sun-bleached greys, muted earth tones, and vibrant blues. Throughout, the collection explored how music, style, and surf continue to travel across generations, shaping identities and communities along the way.
