Project 11 extends the theme of ‘Transformer’, evolving from the robotic elements seen in Project 10 into a new framework of multi-functional garments. This collection introduces garments engineered to deconstruct, rebuild, and adapt, offering versatility for diverse purposes and personalities. Snap button mechanisms, detachable collars, and reconfigurable shoulder lines allow classic silhouettes to adapt dynamically to the occasion. By refining the boundaries between form and function, this project presents designs that evolve alongside the wearer. Engineered for everyday wear, Project 11 explores the relationship between structure and motion, merging menswear staples with adaptive functionality. The Stripe Trapezium XY-Plane Sleeve-Holder Shirt integrates a stretch-layered sleeve system, locking the rolled configuration in place to stabilise its dynamic form. The Vacuum Tank Top contrasts a moulded front with a fluid posterior drape, while the Square Transform Shirt, constructed from a shape-memory fabric, retains its form under compression. Collectively, these designs materialise a moment caught in the wind, translating ephemeral movement into wearable garments.
