The "Wave" Clubbing - ODDA No. 29

Manne Haglund Glad has ridden the crests of various waves, beginning with the creation of his first surfboard, and continuing through his time riding the artistic current alongside Acne Studio's Jonny Johansson. Ultimately, the Creative Director has ended up navigating an entirely contemporary frontier with Anton Edberg and their brand, Stockholm Surfboard Club, which has since been floating on a dynamic interplay between countercultural expression and Scandinavian expression, while serving as an intermediary between coast and city, artistry and tactility. In service of this, every surfboard, Ready-to-Wear design, and wetsuit becomes a buoy for interpersonal connections and cultural dialogues, anchoring communities and individuals who seek to move fluidly through life and the moments that make it.
